Transforming LEX Summit into an Unforgettable Legal Experience
The Design Teams' Quest: LEX is Filevine’s flagship conference. A three-day gathering of 1,200+ legal professionals and it needed a theme as bold as Filevine. We developed “Join the Club,” a country-club-inspired concept that reframed the event as something more exclusive, elevated, and immersive. The idea wasn’t just aesthetic, it gave us a flexible visual system that could stretch across environments, motion, merchandise, and on-site activations while still feeling cohesive and intentional.

Why It Works: LEX attracts ambitious legal pros and The Grand America set a naturally upscale tone. “Join the Club” leaned into that environment instead of fighting it, turning the space into an extension of the brand. It felt elevated but still had room for personality, a balance that reflects Filevine.
As lead designer, I guided our team of designers to shape everything from room environments to printed materials to on-site installations. My job wasn’t just to make it look good, it was to make it feel like an experience people would talk about long after it ended.
Over 300 assets later, we had a fully immersive three-day event for 1,200+ attendees.

A Unique Shopping Experience Filevine's "Pro Shop"
Every great country club has a Pro Shop — so we built one.
Each attendee received tickets to “shop” custom merch and limited items. I worked with the events to pick products, source materials, and create designs that felt elevated but still fun.Our team created everything from custom packaging to golf cart wraps. (One of my favorite projects)
Video At Scale Cheeky videos brought to a room of lawyers.
Lawyers… but make it cheeky. I handled all video direction and production for the event, creating 15+ videos myself and managing outside partners for the rest. I designed everything keeping to the country club theme without losing credibility.
The reviews came in and it hit the mark exactly. We also got a few chuckles along the way.
Pre-Show Animation Roll / Created all 3 screens to work in tandem and have a good show flow.
Mainstage product promotionals / motion graphics
Signage, wayfinding, and event handouts? We did over 300+ assets for this event ranging from large stage banners to seat drops. Our team of 3 designers did it all on-time (woot woot).
During the day, everything leaned into the Join the Club aesthetic: refined, structured, country-club polish with a little bit of cheekiness.
And then at night, we flipped it.
For LEX Fest, the after party, the signage shifted with the vibe. Bolder graphics. Louder typography. Higher contrast. Both events felt elevated while still feeling cohesive.
