Transforming LEX Summit into
an Unforgettable Legal Experience

The Design Teams' Quest (as written by our CD): LEX, also known as the biggest and baddest legal conference in the country, needs a theme just as audacious.

So “join the club” and throw on your Members Only jacket to celebrate and learn all things Filevine with us at the luxuries Grand America hotel, where we will transform the conference into to the swankiest private country club in the county. Between sessions join us for pickleball in the halls, golf monitors at lunch, all while wearing the sickest company swag.

As lead designer, I partnered closely with the events team to shape everything from room environments to printed materials to on-site installations. My job wasn’t just to make it look good — it was to make it feel like an experience people would talk about long after it ended.

Over 300 assets later, we had a fully immersive three-day event for 1,200+ attendees.

Design Vision

A Unique Shopping Experience
Filevine's "Pro Shop"

Every great country club has a Pro Shop — so we built one.

Each attendee received tickets to “shop” custom merch and limited items. I worked with the events to pick products, source materials, and create designs that felt elevated but still fun.Our team created everything from custom packaging to golf cart wraps. (One of my favorite projects)

Video At Scale Cheeky videos brought to a room of lawyers.

Lawyers… but make it cheeky. I handled all video direction and production for the event, creating 15+ videos myself and managing outside partners for the rest. I designed everything keeping to the country club theme without losing credibility.

The reviews came in and it hit the mark exactly, and got a few chuckles along the way.

Pre-Show Animation Roll / Motion Graphics and video editing

Mainstage product promotionals / motion graphics

Signage, wayfinding, and event handouts? We did over 300+ assets for this event ranging from large stage banners to seat drops. Our team of 3 designers did it all on-time (woot woot).

During the day, everything leaned into the Join the Club aesthetic: refined, structured, country-club polish with a little bit of cheekiness.

And then at night, we flipped it.

For LEX Fest, the after party, the signage shifted with the vibe. Bolder graphics. Louder typography. Higher contrast. Both events felt elevated while still feeling cohesive.
